Troy Birdsong { CEO / Chief Innovator }
Bringing more than 15 years of design experience to the conversation, Troy Birdsong began his career designing museums and entertainment complexes in Los Angeles. A graduate of Woodbury University with a BS in Interior Architecture and a minor in Business, Troy sharpened his skills as a designer with Iwerks Entertainment, where he gained an invaluable understanding of scale in design. He then worked under renowned museum designers Barry Howard and Jeremy Railton at The Last Design Company, designing signage, large-scale graphics and exhibits for the Hollywood Entertainment Museum. He later went solo opening Birdsong Creative by landing the opportunity to design The Brain Inside Your Head, a traveling exhibit that debuted at the Smithsonian Institute. During Birdsong Creative’s history, Troy worked with companies such as Warner Brothers, Sony, The Rand Corporation, Rainmaker Entertainment and Disney Consumer Products. Troy moved to Franklin with his wife and two children in 2005 and continued Birdsong Creative’s mission to work with some of the most exciting, innovative, family-friendly companies on the planet. Troy is the linear/creative hybrid of Birdsong Creative. While everyone is clamoring to fly the pretty kites, Troy’s the only one who remembers to bring the string.
