Toni Birdsong { Communications Strategist }

Toni brings a depth of communication expertise to the Birdsong team. Upon graduating from East Carolina University with a BA in both Political Science and Communications, she began her career as a journalist in 1989 covering politics and business for several Arizona newspapers. An award winning writer and editor, Toni wrote a political column for several years before making the move to Los Angeles where she worked as an Arts Editor covering art, music, theatre and design at the Los Angeles Downtown News. Toni eventually made the transition into Corporate Communications at The Walt Disney Company and covered business strategy, innovation and new technologies for nine years. She’s written more than 2,000 news, feature and how-to articles and now writes and oversees all content creation and communications strategy for Birdsong clients.
